This policy explains what happens to the information you give Well Lived. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What is collected
When you complete What’s Actually Yours, you give a first name and an email address. Your answers are stored alongside them so your results can be generated and sent. Basic, anonymous analytics about how the page is used may also be collected.
Why it is collected
To send you your results, and, if you opted in, to send you the Well Lived letter. Nothing else.
What is not done with it
Your information is never sold, rented, or traded. It is not shared with advertisers or third parties beyond the service providers listed below, who process it only to deliver email on Well Lived’s behalf.
Who processes it
What’s Actually Yours and signing up for the Well Lived letter are pages on this site. When you submit either, your answers are stored in a database (Neon). Your results are sent through an email service, Resend, and if you opt in, the Well Lived letter is sent through Resend too. Both forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated abuse before anything is stored or sent. This site also uses Google Analytics to understand how it is used.
How long it is kept
Until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be deleted. Every issue of the Well Lived letter includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted entirely. Write to welllived@danaloverde.com and it will be handled within 30 days. If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, these rights are guaranteed to you under the GDPR, and you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Cookies
This site sets cookies for Google Analytics, which measures how the site is used, and for Cloudflare Turnstile, which tells real visitors from automated abuse on both forms, in addition to any cookies required for the page itself to function. Analytics cookies are set as soon as a page loads, not after a prompt. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.
